Before you start
A two-minute orientation: how it works, the shortcuts that matter, where it has limits, and what you are agreeing to.
Sign in, open Peer Aura, and generate a private room code. Send it to the friend who will help.
Your microphone and system audio stream live to your helper so they hear the room as it happens.
Press the shortcut to send a full-screen snapshot whenever you want them to see what you see.
Your helper types back on the overlay. There is no voice coming back, so nothing is overheard.
Ctrl+B is a field-of-view toggle. It changes how visible the overlay is to you. It does not affect the interviewer, who never sees it regardless.
Messaging always works. Typed replies and snapshots function on every network.
Audio may be blocked. Corporate firewalls and VPNs can block the live audio connection.
Prefer a personal device. For the most reliable session, run Peer Aura on your own machine and home network.
You are solely responsible for how you use this software. By using Peer Aura, you agree to use it ethically and lawfully, and to review our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
Connections are peer-to-peer and encrypted in transit. Your audio and snapshots never pass through our servers, and nothing is stored. Keep your room codes private.
